G-Basma Enterprises is an organization created to provide resources and assistance for people displaced, in transition, unemployed, under-employed, laid off or becoming self-employed.

 Why G-Basma Enterprises was formed

        Technology can be intimidating:
"I have not had to search for a job in 12 years and the last time I did, I looked in the help-wanted ads in a newspaper," said a displaced construction worker who asked to remain anonymous.  "I didn't even know where to start."

   Times have changed and we are here to help with:

  • Job Search - how and where to find a job 
  • Avoid being taken advantage of while you learn the ropes
  • Identify tools to help you make connections
  • Provide resources for post-layoff finances

In today's economy more and more companies are downsizing their workforce. Many of these companies offer an outplacement process for their management team but what about the office and/or hourly staff?  Who helps them with the internet job boards, answering online advertisements, putting a resume together or even filling out an application?

               

HR Systems and G-BASMA Enterprises of Kansas City have developed a program to equip those workers that have been laid off and need immediate and specific assistance.  The program is designed to be part of a company's downsizing plan and offers the employees some key tools to use in their job search.
